I am continuing the month of orange baby things with PB's orange sheets.
This is PB right when we came home from the hospital. All 9 pounds and 22 inches of him. We didn't find out what we were having so I made everything as orange as possible. I was so excited when I saw orange sheets for the crib at the store. I was all set to dye white ones so we could have more orange in the nursery.
I also made an orange crib skirt for when the mattress is at the highest setting. There is a drawer at the bottom of the crib and without a skirt, you could see right in.
Happy Orange Friday!!!

I had orange sheets for my son too. His room was blue, orange and chocolate. I love it!

Hi
My friends have this same crib and I am making them their bed skirt. Did you make it with flat panels? or is it a traditional ruffle skirt? I can't quite tell from this pic and was wondering what looked good in behind those panels!
Gorgeous nursery! I love the orange!! Their crib skirt will be orange as well!
This will be my fourth crib skirt and all the ones I have done were ruffle. So if you have any hints or tips to pass along that would be great!!
Thanks so much
Hi Tracy! this crib skit is one long piece that covers the bottom of the bed and the one side. It is a completely flat long panel that has ties on the top. The bottom is folded under twice and sewn. i must say that when it is off it looks pretty ghetto but when it is tied on, it looks like a nice crib skirt. I tied the ties to the metal that holds the mattress. Also I made it wide enough to cover the space when the bed is at the highest setting. so when i lowered the bed i just tied it up higher on the metal. I hope that helps, if you have any questions, feel free to email me!!
