Aprons

At the beginning of November I hosted a Chili Cook Off for my MOMS club. I needed a prize for 1st and 2nd place and decided to make some aprons.  I found this tutorial and it was a breeze.  The second place winner liked her apron so much she asked me to make her some for gifts.  I made an extra for a MOMS club gift exchange, act surprised ladies :)

I just paired up fabrics I thought were fun.
My friend wanted trendy and fun fabrics so I had a blast picking some out.

This one might be my favorite.

Here is a close up.  I love the little bees!

I changed a few things from the tutorial, I made the apron 6 inches longer and omitted the bottom ruffle and the pocket and made the ties longer.  I am sure they would look great with the pocket and ruffle, but I was on a time crunch and needed something easy, this sure was easy! I used 3/4 of a yard for the bog part and 1/3 yard for the top piece and ties. If you need a quick and easy gift to whip up, these aprons are perfect!
