I made a few of these aprons for my friend at Christmas to give away as gifts. She loved them and asked me to keep an eye out for purple in the red tag section of Joann Fabrics that would be good for an apron. Well almost 6 months later I finally found one!! This apron is seriously easy to whip up and makes a really good gift. I think I have just enough fabric leftover to make a gathered clutch!

its amazing how stylish it is too. long gone are the matronly looking aprons, this is VERY PRETTY!
I just saw a tutorial for a clothes pin bag the other day and was thinking how easy it would be to make a waist apron that was also a clothes pin bag. Maybe a pocket on each side to help distribute the weight.
