Craft Swap

I participated in a craft swap over at Hideous! Dreadful! Stinky!.  I never did a craft swap before but it was so much fun coming up with something to make for someone I never met and knew next to nothing about except for the questionnaire we all filled out.  

 So this is what I made for Marigold, you may recognize it, it was highlighted by Dana over at MADE as part of  Celebrate Yellow.  It is my zipper bag turned into a zipper clutch.  I have only made 3 of these bags, but I really wish I would have thought about adding a strap from the beginning.  Marigold said one of the color combinations she liked was neutrals with yellow.  That color combination really spoke to me and was inspiring.  I sent this out a week or so ago so I know I am not ruining any surprises.  Hopefully if Marigold saw Dana's post, she was still surprised!!

I had so much fun doing that swap that I signed to for the Super Style Bag Swap at Sew, Mama, Sew! Currently I am on the hunt for the perfect fabric and bag pattern for my partner!!
